In the June issue of Vanity Fair, the magazine spoke with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy about Star Wars: The Force Awakens for their big Star Wars issue and while they have her talking, they got her to confirm that a new Indiana Jones movie is indeed in the works!
Here is the excerpt from the magazine:
“In buying the company, Disney also got rights, for better or worse, to less-storied Lucasfilm properties, among them Willow and Radioland Murders. A bigger prize is the Indiana Jones franchise. Kennedy confirmed rumors that another Indy movie ‘will one day be made inside this company. When it will happen, I’m not quite sure. We haven’t started working on a script yet, but we are talking about it.’”
It’s been rumored for months that Chris Pratt would star in a reboot of the franchise but nothing has been confirmed at this point. Once news breaks we’ll have it for you.

Disney and Marvel has put together an impressive slate of movies for 2015. I’m really looking forward to most of them, but if I had to pick one (besides Star Wars) to be most excited about, I would choose Tomorrowland because of Judy Greer and Kathryn Hahn. They are awesome.
