‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Has Cast Their Villain!
Variety is reporting that Oscar Isaac is close to signing on to play En Sabah Nur aka Apocalypse in the 2016 film.
Little is known regarding the film, although, it is said it will be set in the 1980s and will reportedly feature younger versions of familiar X-Men from the first films, including Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm. The film is expected to feature all cast members from X-Men: Days of Future Past including Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and James McAvoy.
X-Men and X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer will return to direct the anticipated film. The director is quoted as saying “‘Apocalypse’ will have more of the mass destruction that ‘X-Men’ films, to date.”
X-Men: Apocalypse is expected in theaters on May 27, 2016.

Star Wars Episode VII Trailer to Debut in Select Theaters This Friday! *UPDATED*
Rumors over the last few weeks as to where and when the debut of the teaser trailer for Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens have flooded the internet and have ranged from debuting with The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies to Disney wanting to debut the trailer is a special way..well…no one expected this…
Regal Entertainment Group has announced this morning that fans can line up to be among the first to see the trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens this Friday in a select group of theaters. The list of participating theaters is listed below:
9 theaters seems to be a far cry from a “special way”. These nine theaters will play the trailer before every movie from November 28th thru November 30th. No word on when the trailer will roll out nationwide or when it will debut online.

On a farm in rural Kentucky, father Jeremiah (Robert Longstreet) and daughter Sarah (Sophie Traub) squabble together like young puppies. Over crisp, verdant images of nature, of animals, streams and puddles, a mysterious, sensual female voice tells of her lover, who may be a person or may be the whole world. Enter Akin (Joe Swanberg), there to help out for the summer. He’s left his wife and child at home – and taken off his wedding ring as a precaution. Soon the three of them are circling each other, watching, feeling watched and knowing that their watching is not going unwatched. Within this atmosphere, a charged romance develops between Sarah and Akin that carries both an erotic tension and vague feeling of menace. When Akin’s wife Drew comes for a visit, the situation explodes, harmless fantasies giving way to a violent nightmare.
The seductive colors and shallow depth of field of Ashley Connor’s superb camerawork accentuate the ethereal nature of this enigmatic story. Josephine Decker’s second feature lets beauty and horror blithely flirt with one another like two coquettish flowers in the same inviting meadow.

David Ayer’s DC comics adaptation Suicide Squad has been targeting some high profile talent as of late, now TheWrap is reporting that Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) is being eyed to play The Joker. Previous reports had Leto linked to Marvel’s Doctor Strange but those rumors have all but dried up. If the rumors hold true this would be the Joker’s first appearance of the character since Heath Ledger’s Oscar winning portrayal in 2008’s The Dark Knight.
