After the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, another international incident involving Captain America and the Avengers results in collateral damage, prompting politicians to form a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to call in the Avengers, which results in the fracturing of the team while they attempt to protect the world from a new enemy.

Captain America: Civil War is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016, in 3D and IMAX.

New Regency and 20th Century Fox just revealed the FIRST LOOK at Michael Fassbender as Callum Lynch in their upcoming film, Assassin’s Creed, and we have it for you now!

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain.  Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Assassin’s Creed stars Academy Award® nominee Michael Fassbender (X-Men: Days of Future Past, 12 Years a Slave) and Academy Award winner Marion Cotillard (The Dark Knight Rises, La Vie en Rose). The film is directed by Justin Kurzel (Snowtown, Macbeth); produced by New Regency, Ubisoft Motion Pictures, DMC Films and Kennedy/Marshall; co-financed by RatPac Entertainment and Alpha Pictures; and distributed by 20th Century Fox.

 Set in New England circa 1630, The Witch follows a farmer who get cast out of his colonial plantation and is forced to move his family to a remote plot of land on the edge of an ominous forest rumored to be controlled by witches. Almost immediately, strange and unsettling things begin to happen-the animals turn violent, the crops fail, and one of the children disappears, only to return seemingly possessed by an evil spirit.  As suspicion and paranoia mount, everyone begins to point the finger at teenage daughter Thomasin. They accuse her of witchcraft, which she adamantly denies…but as circumstances become more and more treacherous, each family member’s faith, loyalty, and love will be tested in shocking and unforgettable ways.
Writer/director Robert Eggers‘ debut feature, which premiered to great acclaim at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival (and won the Best Director Prize in the U.S. Narrative Competition), painstakingly recreates a God-fearing New England decades before the 1692 Salem witch trials, in which religious convictions and pagan folklore famously clashed. Each cover features the warring sides of the force with the first showing the dark side featuring Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren, Domhnall Gleeson’s General Hux and Gwendoline Christie’s Captain Phasma and the second featuring Daisy Ridley’s Rey, John Boyega’s Finn and Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron.

Paramount Releases the First Trailer for ‘Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse’

Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming comedy horror film Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and we have it for you below!

Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.

The movie stars Tye Sheridan, David Koechner, Cloris Leachman¸ Halston Sage, Logan Miller, Joey Morgan, and Sarah Dumont. The film is directed by Christopher Landon (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones).

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse is set to be released on October 30, 2015.

D23 Coverage: ‘Riley’s First Date?’ Will Feed Your ‘Inside Out’ Addiction

Rileys-First-Date_-d975_10cs.pub16.180-2Pixar Animation Studios heads back inside the mind with an all-new short. “Riley’s First Date?” made its world premiere this afternoon at D23 EXPO 2015. Director Josh Cooley, along with Inside Out filmmakers Pete Docter (Up, Monsters, Inc.) and Jonas Rivera (Up), introduced the short, which revisits Riley, now 12, who is hanging out with her parents at home when potential trouble comes knocking. Mom’s and Dad’s Emotions find themselves forced to deal with “Riley’s First Date?”

The short will be included as a bonus feature in the digital HD & Blu-ray releases of Disney·Pixar’s Inside Out, which will be available digitally Oct. 13 and on Blu-ray Nov. 3, 2015.

Gigantic, Disney’s unique take on Jack and the Beanstalk, will feature music from Oscar®-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who greeted D23 EXPO fans in signature style, in song, alongside director Nathan Greno (Tangled) and producer Dorothy McKim (“Get A Horse!”).

Set in Spain during the Age of Exploration, Disney’s Gigantic follows adventure-seeker Jack as he discovers a world of giants hidden within the clouds. He hatches a grand plan with Inma, a 60-foot-tall, 11-year-old girl, and agrees to help her find her way home. But he doesn’t account for her super-sized personality—and who knew giants were so down to earth?

Finding DoryEllen DeGeneres (“The Ellen DeGeneres Show”), the voice of everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, took a dip with D23 EXPO attendees this afternoon, celebrating Disney Pixar’s upcoming film Finding Dory. Joining DeGeneres on stage this afternoon were Ed O’Neill (“Modern Family”), who lends his voice to Hank, a cantankerous octopus; Ty Burrell (“Modern Family”), the voice of Bailey, a misguided beluga whale; and Kaitlin Olson (“Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), who voices Destiny, a kind-hearted whale shark.

Oscar®-winning director Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, WALL•E), co-director Angus MacLane and producer Lindsey Collins (co-producer WALL•E) offered new details of the all-new story, which reunites Dory with friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale? Also featuring the voices of Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy.

Written and directed by Marc Abraham, I SAW THE LIGHT is based on Colin Escott’s award-winning biography and stars Tom Hiddleston, Elizabeth Olsen, Bradley Whitford, David Krumholtz and Cherry Jones. RatPac Entertainment’s Brett Ratner and Bron Studios’ Aaron L. Gilbert produced the film, with G. Marq Roswell and Abraham.  James Packer of RatPac Entertainment and Jason Cloth of Creative Wealth Media Finance executive produced. Notable director of photography Dante Spinotti was the cinematographer for the film.

HBO has released a first look at “Westworld” and we have it for you below!

The story revolves around two guests at a high-tech amusement park go on a wild west adventure. The park is peopled by robots and is designed to provide a 100% life like experience simulating Roman times, cowboy times, and medieval times. When the park’s central computer breaks down, the robots start to run amok and our two guests find themselves stalked by a robot gunslinger.

The cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Clifton Collins, Jr., Simon Quarterman and Angela Sarafyan.

New ‘Deadpool’ Photos Released!

20th Century Fox has released three new Deadpool photos in this months Empire magazine and we have them for you below!

Based upon Marvel Comics most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Along with Ryan Reynolds, the film also stars T.J. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax. Tim Miller is directing the movie from a script by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

Deadpool hits theaters on February 12, 2016.

New ‘Batman v Superman’ Photos Surface from Empire Magazine

Empire has revealed three new Batman v Superman photos and we have them for you below! The photos feature Ben Affleck’s Batman and the Bat signal, Henry Cavill’s Superman in Wayne Manor, and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor at LexCorp.

The film stars Henry Cavill reprising his role as Clark Kent/Superman, and Ben Affleck assuming the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman with Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, and Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane returning from Man of Steel. Jesse Eisenberg will also star as Lex Luthor along with Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a yet to be announced role. Jason Momoa will also be making an appearance as Aquaman, but the significance of his role has yet to be announced.

Directed by Zack Snyder, written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer, the film is produced by Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.

Shiny new trailer for all you #Firefly fans from Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion’s new ‘CON MAN” series

If you are a true Browncoat, you will be overjoyed at the upcoming series written and directed by Alan Tudyk. Very clearly poking fun at themselves and embracing the fandom that has kept both Joss Whedon‘s Firefly and Serenity alive and kicking in the minds of millions, Con Man is the perfect way to celebrate two of our favorite sci-fi heroes and all that comes with being part of such a short-lived but much loved series. The trailer below is filled with surprises and some incredible cameos that we anticipate are just the beginning of this hilarious venture. If you didn’t already know, the entire project was crowdfunded on Indiegogo. This is truly the perfect way to illustrate what a big deal Firefly is/was to fans and celebrate the humor attached to it’s nostalgia. While we’re sad that it was cancelled, we’ll gladly open our hearts to Con Man… and still hold out hope for a future reboot… We have a hard time letting  go.

20th Century Fox Announces “Night on the Towns” Event- Fans Will Be The First to See “Paper Towns”

Twentieth Century Fox today announced a very special event for its upcoming Paper Towns:  “Night on the Towns,” where fans will be the first to see the film and be included in a live simulcast experience of an exclusive Q&A with Paper Towns stars Nat Wolff, Cara Delevingne, Halston Sage, Justice Smith and Jaz Sinclair; author John Green, upon whose bestseller the film is based; director Jake Schreier; and producer Wyck Godfrey.

There will also be acoustic performances by Saint Motel and Nat & Alex Wolff, plus a few surprises to be unveiled that evening.

This very memorable evening will unfold on hundreds of movie screens across the U.S. and Canada.  Attendees will also receive a beautiful commemorative locket and an exclusive poster from the film.

“Night On The Towns” will take place on July 23rd, 8:30pm Eastern / 7:30pm Central / 6:30pm Mountain / 5:30pm Pacific, ahead of the film’s opening in theaters everywhere on July 24th.
