NBC Considering a Move for ‘Constantine’

18208

One of the best shows on television has had a difficult time finding an audience in its first season. NBC’s Constantine has been well written and, more importantly, well acted, but NBC has mishandled the show from the beginning and is now on the verge of making a monumental change. After the network decided to limit the first season order to 13 episodes, a move many considered the death blow for the show, NBC has now began to rethink its position and are considering moving the show to its sister station SyFy. Word also comes that the show could take on the title Hellblazer, and perhaps be even closer to the comics on which it is based.

At this stage this is no more than a rumor so keep checking back as we monitor the situation.

What do you think of a move for the show? Has NBC dropped the ball again?! Will a move save the show or doom it for good? Sound off!

mel-gibson-AP

The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Lionsgate is in final talks for North American rights to Hacksaw Ridge from Academy Award-winning director Mel Gibson and starring ole Spiderman himself Andrew Garfield. The film is Gibson’s first directorial outing since 2006’s Apocalypto.

Lionsgate Wants to Make More Hunger Games Movies!

The-Hunger-Games-Mockingjay-Part-1-Teaser-TrailerAn interesting tidbit surfaced yesterday from the Lionsgate shareholders teleconference when several investors grilled for answers as to what the studio’s plans are for future after the release of this year’s The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 hits theaters in November. After trying to assure investors that the company has a “strong slate” of films coming, CEO Jon Feltheimer dropped the bombshell and said, “we’re actively looking at some development and thinking about prequel and sequel possibilities” for the Hunger Games franchise. What?! As Hunger Games fans will know, the story created by Suzanne Collins ends with the completion of the Mockingjay films so….how is this possible? Will Suzanne Collins be involved? Will we see the return of Katniss and Peta?! Only time will tell, but one things for sure, this is exciting news! Read More →
