David Cross plays Lucy’s adorably kind father, Peter. Sachs and Cross share a chemistry that is cinematic magic. Their deliciously codependent relationship is like a warm hug of happy memories.
Lucy’s all-in approach to her love life slowly proves detrimental to her work and friendships, and eventually her partners. Her romantic hyperfocus becomes all-consuming, and little by little she chips away at every other relationship.
