Fox TV Group chairman Gary Newman confirmed this weekend that the network is in talks for a new installment of the wildly popular series The X-Files. The series, created by Chris Carter , and starred David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson, was ended a successful nine year run on the network in 2002.
