I love it when trailers show just enough to hook you and this one certainly does. The score underlines the uneasiness of the character’s plight as the location reveals the isolation.
When a plane crashes in the unpredictable waters of Lake Michigan, the pilot is pulled from the wreckage by Mitch who has been stranded on his boat. Immediately suspicious of each other, these two strangers must overcome their differences to find a way back to shore. Together, they must fight against the harsh elements if they have any hope of making it back alive.
Entertainment One Films will be releasing The Surface on VOD, Digital HD and DVD on September 1st. The film stars Sean Astin, Chris Mulkey and Mimi Rogers and directed by Gil Cates Jr.
