David Cross is releasing his new movie, HITS, in theaters and available via BitTorrent as a Pay-What-You-Want release. There’s actually a Special Pay-What-You-Want Screening Event at Nitehawk Cinemas in Brooklyn. Sorry, it’s sold out already. The big surprise is the quiet release of The Rewrite, starring (are you ready for this?) Hugh Grant, Marisa Tomei, Allison Janney, J.K. Simmons and Chris Elliott.
Starting off the month is the documentary, Tricked, from First Run Features about human trafficking. Next up is a light-hearted romantic comedy with Matt LeBlanc and Ali Larter, Lovesick. Mad As Hell is documentary about… Another documentary, Call For Help covers the disaster and aftermath of the earthquake in Haiti. Rutger Hauer stars in a future world in RPG. For the horror/suspense fans, Girl House and Digging Up the Marrows look pretty terrifying.
