‘Maleficent’ Sequel in the Works at Disney

Deadline is reporting that Walt Disney Pictures is developing a Maleficent sequel. The studio has hired Linda Woolverton, who scripted the first film, to work on the followup. No word on if the star of the first film, Angelina Jolie, will return but the studio is hot to sign her. The original film brought in more than $758 million worldwide. More as it becomes available
