D23 Coverage: ‘Riley’s First Date?’ Will Feed Your ‘Inside Out’ Addiction

Rileys-First-Date_-d975_10cs.pub16.180-2Pixar Animation Studios heads back inside the mind with an all-new short. “Riley’s First Date?” made its world premiere this afternoon at D23 EXPO 2015. Director Josh Cooley, along with Inside Out filmmakers Pete Docter (Up, Monsters, Inc.) and Jonas Rivera (Up), introduced the short, which revisits Riley, now 12, who is hanging out with her parents at home when potential trouble comes knocking. Mom’s and Dad’s Emotions find themselves forced to deal with “Riley’s First Date?”

The short will be included as a bonus feature in the digital HD & Blu-ray releases of Disney·Pixar’s Inside Out, which will be available digitally Oct. 13 and on Blu-ray Nov. 3, 2015.

New Trailer for Pixar’s ‘Inside Out’ is Here!

Disney/Pixar has debuted the new trailer for Inside Out on Ellen today and we have it for you now! You can check it out below.

The movies characters are voiced by Amy PoehlerBill Hader, Lewis Black, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith, Kaitlyn Dias, Diane Lane, Kyle MacLachlan and John Ratzenberger. The film is written and directed by Pete Docter (Monsters, Inc., Up) with co-director Ronnie del Carmen.

Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Riley is guided by her emotions—Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness. The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school

Inside Out will be release June 19, 2015.

Disney & Marvel Movies Coming in 2015 – Info & Trailers!

2015_DisneyDisney and Marvel has put together an impressive slate of movies for 2015. I’m really looking forward to most of them, but if I had to pick one (besides Star Wars) to be most excited about, I would choose Tomorrowland because of Judy Greer and Kathryn Hahn. They are awesome.
