arrowflash0625141280jpg-44d491_1280wOK…this is pretty amazing! CW has just debuted a epic three minute trailer for the final episodes of their hit DC shows The Flash and Arrow! Check out all the amazing goodness in the video below.

The Flash returns tomorrow, April 14th with their 18th episode entitled “All-Star Team-Up”: The synopsis reads:

Barry (Grant Gustin) is surprised when Felicity Smoak (guest star Emily Bett Rickards) arrives from Starling City along with her boyfriend, Ray Palmer (guest star Brandon Routh), who flies in as the Atom. They’ve come to visit S.T.A.R. Labs as Ray needs help with his suit. Their timing turns out to be fortuitous because it’s all hands on deck after a meta human named Brie Larvin (guest star Emily Kinney) unleashes hundreds of robotic bees to attack and kill her former co-workers, including Dr. Tina McGee (guest star Amanda Pays). A group dinner with Barry, Felicity, Ray, Iris (Candice Patton) and Eddie (Rick Cosnett) turns into a disaster.

Arrow returns this Wednesday, April 15 with episode 19 entitled “Broken Arrow”. The synopsis reads:

Lance (Paul Blackthorne) continues his mission to take down the Arrow (Stephen Amell) so Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) orders Oliver to keep a low profile. However, when a meta-human named Jake Simmons (guest star Doug Jones), who kills people with blasts of energy and plasma, starts terrorizing Starling City, Oliver is forced to ask Ray (Brandon Routh) for help. The unlikely duo is forced to team up to save the city.

Don’t Look Now, But A New DC Comics Team-Up TV Series is Coming with Some Familiar Faces!

fzdeE5f

DC TV universe is about to get bigger as the CW looks to create it’s own team-up spin-off of it’s successful Arrow and Flash franchises. A list of familiar actors and actresses planned to reprise their roles on the new show has surfaced and *SPOILER* one of the names will surprise you!

Arrow creators Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Marc Guggenheim are working with the network to create the show with Brandon Routh reprising his Arrow role as Ray Palmer/The Atom, Victor Garber reprising his Flash role as Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm , Wentworth Miller as Flash villain Leonard Snart/Captain Cold and Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/Black Canary. The project will also include three major DC Comics characters who have never appeared in a TV series!

Whoa whoa whoa…wait a minute….Caity Lotz? Fans of the show Arrow will remember it was Lotz’s character Sara who met her demise this season on the show, so how could this be? And why would Captain Cold be part of this superhero team up? Could they be re-creating his character as Citizen Cold persona from the comics? And Martin Stein is only HALF of Firestorm in the Flash series, how will they work without Robbie Amell’s half! What in the crap is going on here?!

Brandon-Routh

The project is in early stages of development, so obviously a lot could change from now until production so we’ll let the creative minds behind this idea work it all out, but I can honestly say I am extremely interested to see what they come up with.

Word is that the show could go straight to series, possibly for next midseason debut

Keep it here for all your TV news!

TV: Flash vs Arrow Recap

first-images-from-the-flash-arrow-crossover-reveal_tz1p-1920-arrow-could-crossover-with-gothamI mean, of course I was looking forward to the Flash/Arrow crossover! It was the number one television event I was looking forward to this entire Fall season, but I was also quite nervous as to how it would turn out. Being a lifetime comic book reader, one thing is abundantly clear when superhero “events” are concerned, you are destined for a letdown more often then not. Thankfully the producers of these shows and the brains in charge of the CW carefully created a wonderful two night spectacular that was not only fun, but faithful to each shows strengths. Read More →
