New Trailer for ‘Point Break’ Remake is Online

Warner Bros has released the new trailer for the upcoming Point Break remake and we have it for you below!

In Alcon Entertainment’s fast-paced, high-adrenaline action thriller, a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), infiltrates a cunning team of thrill-seeking elite athletes – led by the charismatic Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). The athletes are suspected of carrying out a spate of crimes in extremely unusual ways.

Deep undercover, and with his life in imminent danger, Utah strives to prove they are the architects of this string of inconceivable crimes.

The film is replete with the most daring athleticism ever seen in a motion picture. These action adventure feats are performed by elite athletes representing the world’s best in class in big-wave surfing, wingsuit flying, sheer-face snowboarding, free rock climbing, and high-speed motorcycling.

Point Break also stars Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies), Delroy Lindo (Gone in Sixty Seconds), and Ray Winstone (Noah), under the direction of Ericson Core (Invincible).

Point Break is scheduled for release in 3D and 2D in select theaters on December 25, 2015.

Warner Bros. Pictures has released the Point Break trailer and poster and we have them for you below!

A young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), infiltrates an extraordinary team of extreme sports athletes he suspects of masterminding a string of unprecedented, sophisticated corporate heists. Deep undercover, and with his life in danger, he strives to prove these athletes are the architects of the mind-boggling crimes that are devastating the world’s financial markets.

The film stars Édgar Ramírez (Deliver Us From Evil) as Bodhi, and Luke Bracey (November Man) as Johnny Utah, along with Ray Winstone (Noah), Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies) and Delroy Lindo (Sahara). The film is directed by Ericson Core (Invincible).

 

Filmed on four continents, North America, Europe, South America and Asia, Point Break presents extraordinary feats performed by the world’s top extreme sports athletes, and involves some of the most daring exploits ever committed to film. Extreme sports featured include snowboarding, wingsuit flying, free rock climbing, high-speed motocross, and surfing 70-foot waves.

 

Point Break is scheduled for release in 3D and 2D theaters on December 25.

Liz’s Review: ‘CYMBELINE’- True in text, new in vision.

Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Twelfth Night… Ghostly apparitions, star-crossed lovers, mistaken identity… If you mashed up all three of these Shakespeare plays, you would get the plot of his work Cymbeline. We’ve seen modernized versions of Shakespeare in the past, with films like Baz Luhrmann‘s Romeo + Juliet, O (for Othello), Hamlet,  10 Things I Hate About You, which was a modern incarnation of The Taming of the Shrew, and She’s The Man, meant to resemble Twelfth Night. Only R+J and Hamlet made the bold decision to use the original text. This can be a hindrance in getting audiences through the door. Some might look at this as too much of a challenge when stepping into a movie theater versus going to see a live play. Let alone the general understanding of the language, it’s not the easiest to follow for some. Cymbeline knocks it out of the park in both use of text and understanding. With a glorious cast, filled to the brim with talented celebrities, this version of Shakespeare’s work is pretty spot on. Read More →
