We now know when the first red band trailer for the upcoming Deadpool movie will be released to the public! TBS has listed Ryan Reynolds as a guest on “Conan” this Tuesday with the explanation:
“Ryan Reynolds debuts the new redband trailer for ‘Deadpool.’ We’re filling up his dressing room with chimichangas in anticipation.”
Now I’m sure the actual Red Band will not be shown on the late night show as, for those of us who saw it at San Diego Comic Con can attest to, it’s quite vulgar. A Green Band version of the trailer will also be hitting theaters with Fantastic Four on August 7th so I would expect that one to be shown on TV and the red band to debut online afterwards.
Based upon Marvel Comics most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
Deadpool is scheduled for a release on February 12, 2016
