The first trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man movie has arrived and it is glorious! The film, directed by Peyton Reed, is the final film in the company’s “Phase 2” of the the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The movie stars Paul Rudd (This is 40) as the titular character as well as Evangeline Lilly (The Hobbit:Battle of the Five Armies), Corey Stoll (House of Cards), and film legend Michael Douglas as original Ant-Man Hank Pym.
The film follows thief Scott Lang (Rudd) who must help his mentor Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) to protect the Ant-Man technology from forces who wish to possess it. Armed with the power to its user to decrease in size but increase in strength, Lang must protect the secret behind the Ant-Man from the oncoming threats as well as aid Pym to pull off a heist that will save the world.
The movie hits theaters on July 17, 2015
