LOS ANGELES (September 26, 2014) – XLrator Media announced the launch of a unique multi-layered content marketing initiative to reach “core-music fans” who will make up a large percentage of its opening weekend audience and box office take for JIMI: ALL IS BY MY SIDE, opening in theaters September 26, 2014.
“As a company that’s as excited about Record Store Day each year as Oscar Night, it’s critical that our messaging to the music community and longtime Jimi Hendrix fans is pure and authentic,” said XLrator Media CEO Barry Gordon. “We knew we had an obligation to explain to this highly-informed group why there are no original Hendrix masters used in the film, yet proudly share the high-quality, curated music experience they will enjoy in theatres with JIMI: ALL IS BY MY SIDE.”
